Have old newspapers, cardboard, plastic, metal items, or unwanted electronics lying around at home? Most people search for a nearby scrap shop when they want to sell their recyclable waste quickly and get a fair price.
But there is an easier way. Instead of carrying heavy scrap to a local kabadi shop, you can book a doorstep pickup with Urban Scrap. We collect recyclable scrap from your home or office, pay according to the current market rates, and send the collected material for authorised recycling.
Why Choose Urban Scrap for Scrap Pickup?
Urban Scrap is a trusted online kabadiwala service serving Delhi NCR. Our goal is simple: make scrap selling easy, transparent, and convenient for everyone.
Whether you are cleaning your house, shifting to a new place, renovating your office, or simply have accumulated scrap over time, you can book a pickup without the trouble of transporting everything yourself.
Our service is available 7 days a week, from early morning to late night, making it easier to choose a pickup time that fits your schedule.
If you are searching for a nearby scrap shop, you don’t always need to travel anywhere. Urban Scrap brings the scrap pickup service directly to your doorstep.
What Scrap Does Urban Scrap Take?
We collect many common recyclable items found in homes, offices, shops, and other places. This includes materials such as:
- Paper and newspapers
- Cardboard and gatta
- Plastic
- Metal scrap
- E-waste
- Electronic appliances
The collected scrap is sorted and sent for authorised recycling, helping useful materials stay in circulation instead of ending up as unnecessary waste.
Important: What We Do NOT Take
We want to make this very clear so there is no confusion when you book a pickup.
Urban Scrap does not collect wood or furniture. This includes old wooden furniture and similar wooden household items.
We also do not collect mattresses.
What about clothes?
Clothes can be collected only when they are given along with other accepted scrap. We do not take clothes alone as a separate scrap pickup.
We accept only wearable clothes. We do not accept:
- Undergarments
- Pillow covers
- Bedsheets
- Curtains
- Other similar household fabric items
So, if you have a pile of only clothes, please don’t book a pickup just for those clothes. However, if you have accepted scrap such as paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, or e-waste along with wearable clothes, you can mention the clothes while booking.
We also do not take food wrappers or thermocol.
These simple guidelines help our team provide a smoother service and avoid confusion during pickup.
Fair Scrap Rates Without the Hassle
When people visit a nearby scrap shop, one of their biggest concerns is getting the right price for their scrap.
At Urban Scrap, we aim to offer competitive market rates for recyclable materials. Rates can change depending on the type and quality of scrap and current market conditions.
You can check our latest scrap rate information before booking your pickup.
